A Mother!

Mother in black and white,
Hung when she was youthful,
A Beautiful picture of her and us,
Always tells us that she was alive,
Hug of a selfless mother never felt,
Food of the tiring hands never tasted,
Laps of the comfort taken so soon,
The place of a queen always vacant,
Half a dozen loving hearts around,
Having the specific names of their own,
Sacrificial love of a mother is not known,
Mother is the sweet, who can taste as one,
Mother is a bee, collects memories of honey,
Mother is a treasurer, not accounting all our secrets,
Mother is a film editor, smart in cut and paste,
Mother is a lioness, the ringmaster to Lion King,
Mother is a priceless gem, good in painful self carving,
A mother more needed as spirit in heaven,
may be still around as our intuition.
