A Mother Always Cares

A woman had incurable cancer
Not even money could help her
She had 6 kids no family
Her aim for them was to live happy

She never showed she was in so much pain
She didn't want them to go through the same thing again
Their dad also passed away
It was a sudden thing and he went within a day

So she wanted all the kids to have in a loving home
So they would be loved and never felt alone
Only the older kids knew why
So to the younger kids they told them a lie

The mum only had 3 months left
So she spent her time finding her kids a home rather than staying in bed
It was on mothers day when she died
Her kids was heart broken and just cried

But they also had joy for what there mum had done
And to them she was always the mum
Even though they each had a new mum and dad
They were happy and glad

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
