A Mother Lost Poem by Amara Templin

A Mother Lost

Rating: 5.0

life neverending
a mothers mistakes degrading
a heavy heart
struggling to forgive
life bringing me to my widths end
hopless thoughts for some family neverending
lost and desperate
lies and truth not seperate
struggling to see the light
losing my will to fight
just a young child deserted
their body bruised and beaten
a mother lost and never there
drugs have caused her loss of care
cant take back what has been done
practically coming undone
cant pretend
nor forget
the mere talk hushed in a household
their child lost
a sister brainwashed
by a mother with issues
peace of mind lost
a mothers addictions take control
the truth is far from dull
a family torn in two
its hard to belive
one addiction
could affect a family so strongly
a mother lost by a struggle known to many
drugs affecting LIVES
