A Mother's Love. Poem by Lizzy Tomlinson

A Mother's Love.

Rating: 5.0

My arms, to have held you,
That would have been a joy.
Instead of never knowing,
If you were a girl or boy.
Each and every one of you,
Was lost before too long.
But I never will forget you,
A mother's love is strong.
So, goodnight, my little Angels.
Stay safely in God's care.
And one day in the future,
I will meet you there.

A sad poem Lizzy. The love of a mother is no less whether the child comes full term or doesn't make it. A loss felt. Sincerely, mary I have written a poem that shares this title.
