A Mother's Love Poem by Cindy Wyatt

A Mother's Love

There is no greater love in this world
and nothing to compare
to a mother who gives all she has
for a child for whom she does care
She spends many sleepless nights
worrying about her child because her love is so great
If her child has a special need
it burdens her heart down like a heavy weight
When the burden is lifted in its time,
it is a time to rejoice
To give God all the glory for his goodness
and praise him with our voice
He hears a mother's cry for help
and does answer prayer
No matter how heavy the burden is
he'll always be there and not give more than we can bear

A beautifully written poem with so much truth. As a mom myself I can attest that there is nothing greater in this world than the love I have for my almost 20 year old little girl!
