This sounds so much like our daughter! ! And the sad part about it is, IT IS THE TRUTH! ! Very good and does bring out motherhood in 21st century so accurate.....Bonnie (Report) Reply

This is certainly a refreshing way to express the 'rewards' of being a mother. I'm a father and have done a lot of these things too. Now you have a lot of material to work with in composing your poems. If you do capture these valuable, unforgtable moments in poems which your children might read 50 years from now, maybe they will then apprecate all the things you did with and for them. Wish you success and comfort in the thought. (Report) Reply

In answer to your question in the last line, you're a mother that many children wish they have. Sometimes, mothers feel lost in the midst of domestic chaos. But, at the end of the day, it's the mothers who are most fulfilled. Great poem! Perfect 10! (Report) Reply
