A Mothers Love Poem by Melissa June

A Mothers Love

My mother wakes early each day
she go's for a long walk through the morning dew
stopping at each park along the way, she watches the children play
being careful to keep the same routine never to do anything new
she's like a broken record that's been stuck on replay
waiting for her to stop this trance like state and breakthrough
until then my mother continues on her way
wishing i could come to her rescue
but unfortunately here i stay
how grateful i am of her i wish she knew
for her walking through winter storms, and spring showers
for everything that she has gave
like these beautiful flowers
that she brings each morning and places on my grave.
