A Murder He Wrote Poem by Scot Warren

A Murder He Wrote

A strange note discovered
One might relate
From one to another
Written in hate
Much can be said
From someone not seen
The handwriting is nice
But the words were unclean
So a new note was given
In place of the first
To make things more fun
And eliminate the worst
But the worst was the least
Of all to be done
It wasn’t too funny
When one pulled a gun
When words came to action
In front of our eyes
To that of a friend
We say our good-byes
So next time you think
You should write a note
Think of the story
“A murder he wrote”
