A New Beginning Poem by The Immortal Resilience

A new beginning awaits us
Just beyond the rising sun's horizon.
It would bring light once again
And our hearts would brighten.
This dark that we once lived in
It made us suffer, then die.
We wept and pleaded for it to stop
And all we could do then was try.
But now there is a difference
Now we have a choice.
Now we have eachother, banded together as one.
All creating one voice.
Another beginning, a new beginning comes forth.
It embraces us, and destroys the dark.
The dark era is past.
The light era begins.
How magnificent?
A new beginning.
