A New Blanket Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

A New Blanket

I am wrapping this poem around me;
You won't find any frayed edges,
unraveled corners, holes in the middle,
beginning or end.
I will wrap myself in the folds where happy memories
Lay like pleated lace with diamond thread stitching!
