A New Regime Poem by Murtaza Micky Yusuf

A New Regime

A New Regime~
They fired no shots
No one elects them
Possessors of mighty hands
A stranger than fiction
20 billion amiss
Whodunit
The town crier asks
A mighty voice quiets him‪
#‎Where Is Our Money‬
The whole town is buzzing
As the pump goes dry
Everyone panics
Cars on queue
The queue gets long
Everyone goes trekking
A feast of black markets Swindler
Young folks and jerry cans
Uniformed men wield a horse whip
A solemn heart moved to tears
What a new Federal Republic!
