It's just turned midnight
cold wind blowing at its full speed
snow is still falling outside on the ground
cleaning everything and covering everyone in white
no dark stains
no sharp (harsh) pains
it's all a clean slate
to start all over....
you are long gone
and I am left in a dark and terrible state
of perpetual pain
I guess that's why it is called,
a new year!
a new beginning
it's all a clean slate
to start all over....
forget the past
and start with the new year
forget past year’s sorrow and pain
pretend nothing happened
and it will never happen again
flush out my mind of your memories

can't clear you out of my past and present
life memories
all I want is you back
more and more again
can't get you out of me
no matter how hard I try, but it all ends in vain
come back to me as I feel lonely without you
need you back in my life
