A New Year Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

A New Year

Rating: 5.0

2007 will soon be history
Its jaws will shut permanently
Worn teeth have their last chew
Say goodbye to the expired menu

What promises will you make
For the prospects of 2008
Has your plan changed at all?
Are you ready for an overhaul?

Tired threads have grown old
Write about what is yet untold
Open your mind to what is new
Brush off all clinging residue…
