A gust of wind came to me
From the window outside,
And said- “give your self a new start
And do not spend your life sitting on the same cart.
I turned to the calendar old,
And replaced it with a new one.
Thus, begun the first part,
Of my new start.
I asked myself what else I could do
Except the calendar substitution?
Yes, I could and I turned
To take a new resolution.
I threw down the gantlet to myself
And took a pledge-
To learn from my past,
Till my last breathe.
As the New Year sun drowned into the sea,
I started to prepare
For the second part,
Of a new year, a new start…
