To every heart that beats within
To every mind that yearns to think
To every smile hidden inside
To every friendship that has said goodbye

To every girl who left this world
To every thought sitting fearfully inside
To every soul that has lost hope
To every joy that has been loped

I say
There is a tear before every smile
There is darkness before sunshine
There will be joy after sorrow
There will always be a better tomorrow

If you, life
block my view to the sky
I will couch on you
To have a better view
But never ever stop to try
