A Nut Out Of Her Shell Poem by michele kostelnik

A Nut Out Of Her Shell

Rating: 3.5

It felt so warm at the top of the tree-

until a hard wind blew the branch off of me.

All alone and quite free on the ground,
my nut cracked open wide.

I found many others who lay along side.

New life green grass and shade were a lot
of fun.

Without my shell-soon life would be done.

hey this is quite unique, it talks about change in way of 'green grass and shade'..but it also talks about how hard it is to let go. lovely use of symbolism! Preets
