We've got a one sided
love, but there's nothing
I can do.
No matter how hard I try
there seems to be no pleasing you.

I gave to you my all
my heart, mind, body
and soul.
But a one sided love
left me standing in the cold.

A one sided love
can be so damn cruel
I gotta break free -
i'm tired of being a fool.

A one sided love
I can't take anymore
I'm walking away -
for I deserve so much more.

~*~

A one sided love -
can hurt deep inside,
Many nights you'll lay
in bed and cry.

~*~

You'll toss and turn
unable to sleep
Wondering how -
you could of been so naive.

~*~

You cheated and lied
time after time.
You ravished in breaking
this heart of mine.

~*~

It won't be long
before i'm over you
then i'll be in the
arms of someone new.

~*~

Things just can't go on
like this anymore.
For we've crossed this
path many times before.

In my heart I know
it's best - to say
goodbye forever-more.
My heart needs the rest
for it's been shattered to the core.

There'll be no more
tears - No beckoning
to your every call.
I've played your game
for many years -
Now it's time to end it all.

I finally have the strengh
to set myself free -
'A One Sided Love'
just don't cut for me.
