A Pair Of Paper Knickers (Fun Poem 75) Poem by David Harris

A Pair Of Paper Knickers (Fun Poem 75)

Rating: 5.0

Today I am having a little trip
down the happy memory lane,
thinking of some of those crazy things
that we used to do.
Remember Flower Power,
peace and love.
Where the latest fashions
were retrieved
from the neighbours rubbish bin.
Then drift from that to another crazy
that was strictly ladies,
no men allowed.
It was the rise of the paper knickers
or panties to my American friends.
They had one drawback though,
when they got wet,
they disintegrated and revealed everything.
Another passing phase
that drifted into the history books.
