No handshake cloaked handout
He’s got to be there
Thick or thin
Holding up the space you’re in
Through rapids
And perhaps a fall
To rocks below
Where able to climb out
You pick up and start again

I like this because it is complete and cutting, has a definite point/idea, and starts with a premise ending in a conclusion. The lines are relevant to the idea, not 'hanging' or a rambling or words and your arrangement of the verses is just right. Great work! 10+ Cynthia Buhain
