A piece of happiness flown away by regret
All her life she has wanted to be seen,
But no one notices her they all brush past her
Not even stopping to see how beautiful she is.

There’s always this one boy that shows up in a girls life
Making her laugh and smile like never before
Well this boy she loves just ignores her feelings,
But he’s with this other girl
Who is so much better and so much prettier.

She wants that boy to want her like he wants that other girl
She wants that boy to see how great she really is
If only he would give her a chance

This life she lives in everyday is total chaos
He’s the reason why she gets up every morning
He’s the reason why she keeps on living
The sound of his voice, the way he smells,
The way his eyes sparkle when he smiles,
The way her heart races when he gives her a hug
These are all reasons why she’s still here

She loves him so much,
but he doesn’t know why she loves him so much
The reason why is he walked in her life
And gave her comfort when she cried
He protected her when she was frightened
He makes her smile and laugh
And he makes her feel as if she belonged
On this tiny little planet
