A Perfect Halloween Party Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Perfect Halloween Party

You should have seen the witch hats
I'll tell you, I was in awe
Of course it was Halloween
I saw a farmer girl whose hat was of straw.

Food was at its very best, of course
As it is every single year
Well, it doesn't matter what occasion
Having no food is not something we fear.

Dorothy was there in her red shoes
I saw someone who escaped from jail
But the priest will help him get better
It was a party that did not fail.

I hope Halloween was perfect for you
Just as it was for us
Because we have very special folks
Who truly make a fuss!
