putting on one side
the inconvenient paradox
that I always seem to be
boring old me and yet
never quite myself
I'd like to offer you
my eternal love and
perhaps we might explore together
the implications of that concept?
Michael...delightful. What I enjoyed most about this poem is its proper tone.
Ummm...this was funny! ! (or is it just me) ? 10 for the thoughtful and logical love poem.
This I enjoyed Michael, a lovely statement, and a very down to earth one too. I liked it very much. Thank you for posting it. Love Ernestine XXX
so are the Himalayas boring...all the white on the head...never moving from its place...always with head clouded over...but magnificient and awesome for people who got eyes for things beyond the mundane...love...nalini
There are no negative ones here because it was accepted in the spirit inwhich it was given, love Duncan
I think it's very charming, cute and just not possible to refuse Great poem Anna
I'm not sure how eternatiy can be a 'down to earth' poem...food for thought, thanks. 'e·ter·nal Being without beginning or end; existing outside of time. See Synonyms at infinite. Continuing without interruption; perpetual. Forever true or changeless: eternal truths. Seemingly endless; interminable. See Synonyms at ageless. See Synonyms at continual. Of or relating to spiritual communion with God, especially in the afterlife.' - dictionary.com
