A Place Above Poem by Austin Cargil

A Place Above

He started to breath
Waking from beneath
He sees her crying
She is still denying
His death is hers to bare
And she remembers his last stare
The light was fading fast
And she was all that was left
He started to ascend
And come to his friend
With a final kiss of love
He was gone to a place above
