A Pleasant Day

Everything is laughing singing,
All the pretty flowers are sprung.
See the campus in your fun,
With your knowledge in the blank sun.
You and I may sport and play,
For it is a pleasant Day.

Bring the hoop and bring the ball,
Come with happy faces all.
Let us make a merry ring,
Talk and laugh and dance and sing.
Quickly, quickly come away,
For it is a pleasant Day.

I think that reading this poem aloud is a fantastic way to start a new day. Very well written. Optimism is a far better choice than pessimism. (Report) Reply
