A Poem...

A poem about truth
A poem about lies
A poem about food
A poem about pies

A poem about success,
winning and gain
A poem about loss,
losing and pain

A poem about my
short childhood,
everything that should've
would've, could

A poem about the world
or the littlest town
A poem about the circus
and the biggest clown

The choices are endless
its so hard to pick
To write about people or
maybe a friend named Nick

A poem about my mom
A poem about my dad
A poem about sports
A poem about plaid

A poem about my
vacation trip
A poem about when
I hurt my upper lip

A poem about school,
my very first A
A poem about the farm,
where I fed a horse hay

The choices are endless,
it's so hard to choose
Before I know it,
I'll be singing the blues

Poem of the Day

THE CHANCELLOR mused as he nibbled his pen

And said, “I can summon a million of men
To fight for their country and Kaiser;
