The dip in your ocean of ephemeral
Sent a gush of cold down my spine
Bump, bump bump, went this heart of small
This stillness has had you intertwined.

Stay far to hear the distance
You enveloped this with the prettiest
Stay close to hear it dance
The warmth of this hurt never at rest.

Gathering all of your stardust
With shaking hands and blinding hair
This song to flow through is a must
Tomorrow is nothing but a faded dare.
