A Poem About A Suicide Note Poem by Jack Williams

A Poem About A Suicide Note

Rating: 2.8

A soggy bit of paper
They found it in the bin
I said, It was a just caper
But they said it was a sin

It was a funny thing to tell
It seemed to up the pressure
They said, Was it a cry for help?
I said it was a gesture

Never underestimate
The power of written words
I haven’t found a thing to date
Can better get me heard

A dirty piece of paper
Crumpled in the bin
I said, That was just a taster
As they puzzled at my grin
