The moon and stars
Are at their most resplendent
In utter darkness,
At night;

The human being is created
Greater than the rest of creation -
Greater, and more majestic
Than the moon and stars;

In his or her darkness, then -
The darkness of grief and sorrow -
The human being shines more brilliantly
Than the moon or stars at night-time -

This is the beauty of human beings -
They are at their most magnificent
When troubled,
When grieving:

Human beings then,
Are created beautiful!
