A Poem is
Not what
You think it is,
Not just pretty words
Put together
To speak about
Seasonal weather
Not just poetic,
Bliss,
A Poem Is,
Because its creator
Made it exist,
Because it can
Transmit,
Feelings you never
Felt before
Because it made
You feel,
Spiritually, Alive
Like you never felt
Before,
Because it embraced
Your soul
And made you feel
Love of spirit
And thoughts,
As you have never
Felt them before
And never will,
For anything else
In that incredible
Way,
That Poetry, Can!
And that is why
Poetry will Stay.
Very well put and full of truth, after all...Gods word is full of poetry and he created us in his image, it is a gift because as you stated...it makes you feel love, it touches and we indeed creat with words...not just pretty but moving! Great poem Sandra! ! !
Poem is spiritual bliss it can creates the feelings which can transmit you beastly character to human idealism, human to super human helIish to divine earthly to godly.............////
