A Poem Is Born (Abridged) Poem by Seema Jayaraman

A Poem Is Born (Abridged)

Rating: 5.0

Words drum a rising tempo
synchronized, a million neurons
Pulsate, abuzz like a beehive disturbed

Tepid waves lapping a river bank, meditate
awaiting release of water upstream - a roar
announces an incoming tsunami - a poem is born.

A wonderful choice of words and their soft music coupled with an imagery coming right from the heart of nature make this amazing poem a pleasure to read. Thanks. A quote: Pulsate, abuzz like a beehive disturbed.... announces an incoming tsunami - a poem is born.
