A Poem Of Fire Poem by John Evans

A Poem Of Fire

The golden fire that dances feverishly upon thirst-full tongues
At first glance, a deceptive thrill –
The end presents a forceful shame,
For the torment that my lover brings
I find together- is worth the pain!
