A Poem On International Yoga Day
Why India never had a yoga day before,
Nevertheless, it is the place where yoga originated
India does not need any yoga day,
As every day is yoga day for the Indians,
However, It is better that
There is a day of yoga
As it will bring awareness among those people
Who are less acquainted with yoga
In India, yoga has various aspects
As it has been handed over to the disciples by a Guru
That is why we are having
Guru-Poornima (A full moon day) -A day for Guru
Instead of any yoga day
In India, yoga is just a tool for realizing the highest
Master is more important in Indian's life than yoga
As by the grace of the master
One can cross the ocean of world
Even without yoga.

Yoga is the gift of India to the world and very popular in abroad even in some eastern country yoga is widely followed before preperation of judo karate etc. Still we need to think if it is a political trauma. how does it coincide with the poorest like rickshaw puller etc. is it the process of awareness amongst the people suffering from over dieting. yoga is very pious exercise. how does will react on corrupted mind since yoga is the process for unification of soul with super soul. yoga does not mean only to keep every part of body functionable. Is it not only for publicity. why 21st june is chosen as the day of yoga? why not it should be on birthday of any mahayogi like Ram Krishna Shiva Guru Nanak Buddha Mahabir Jesus Paigamber or any spiritual guru. Your poem is very inspiring. Much appreciated. every moment is for yoga.
