A Poem On The Last Day Of The Year

A POEM ON THE LAST DAY OF THE YEAR

All the words are gone now-
I am left alone
With the quiet-
The quiet is good now-
and I am not tired-

What will be next year-
I cannot know.
All my life is
God's to know-
But I cannot know.
