A Poet Holds A Poem In His Hands Poem by Shalom Freedman

A Poet Holds A Poem In His Hands

The Poet holds a poem in his hands-
He savors it-
He looks down on it
with love in his eyes-

The Poet holds a poem in his hands-
In a world where so many have nothing in their hands,
A Poet holds a poem in his hands-
and thanks God for it.
