A Poet's Lament Poem by B3k Baylon

A Poet's Lament

Rating: 3.3

These are all but words… put it all together and it creates a story. One of tragedy… of lost or found hopes, of grand adventures, the real and make believe, of great love and wondrous discoveries… enormous comfort comes from them. Maybe I am indeed a progeny of Pan, armed with a pen for a Lute, and a parody for a Tune. Born in this world so carefree… destined to wander the earthly abode solitary…

There's great insight shown here in this lovely poem that does describe being a poet & what it entails well. I also wrote a peom called A Poet's Lament if you care to read it. Jeannie Spiritsong
