A Poet's Mind Poem by Nicole GravellPellerino

A Poet's Mind

Trapped in a poet's mind
lies imagery and creativity
born to experience and perception
vivid from its original initiation

still a mere abstraction
liquid thoughts floating aimlessly in the space of my brain
not yet taking form, not confined to loose leaf paper

soon to be a master piece panted by strokes of artistry
saturated with wisdom
verbal wit stuck in my toughs
unique to that poet

aged and wise words still inside
self consideration defines them
soon they speak
with poetic enchantment

A poet's mind
fierce with imagination
waiting faithfully to record
life in all its beauty, trials, and tribulations

Great write depicting a poet's mind. especially with fierce imagination. Yes, each poet is unique in his or her own way. Loved this poem. Thank you for sharing it. RoseAnn
