A Police State Oil-Igarchy Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Police State Oil-Igarchy

Rating: 5.0

We wait for America to be great,
to be a nation of nobility,
but the white house is silent,
determined to repeat injustices
of the past in a modern context.
Injustices and corrupt practises
commited at Standing Rock
against innocent protesters;

testifies to the indifference

of American Power Politics,
a Police State Oil-igarchy
in North Dakota damns
not just Native Americans,
but rights to freedom justice
for citizens of the entire world;

shaming us all...
