You I pray for
with deep clear love
You who know not
Claiming a set of desires
Do not make them destiny

You I pray for
Living with thorns inside
Your heart feels impenetrable
Remember the holes & wounds
It's where the light enters

You I pray for
Bent down kneeling tired
Staring at the floor
Lift your head up high
It's time to take flight

If prayers are granted
Then grant me this
Be a falcon perhaps
Even a humble ant but
Never forget to be kind

Be gentle with self
Then with towards others
on this life's pathway
You are deeply blessed always
You I pray for!
