A Prayer To God Poem by mary roseann ballaran

A Prayer To God

Lying on bed
With eyes wide open
Sleepiness passed by without touching the swelling eyes
Staring blankly at the ceiling
Thinking of the man she love.

the heart was in pain
Or is it just Confused?
The mind was filled with questions
All why, what and when.
Still no answer.

Tears started to fall
Pain started to attack the heart again
Whose already broken by past.
Tears becomes weeping
Pains becomes insecurities, that tortures the heart

The wounded heart tries to smile
Trying to ignore its fears
Fears that slowly walking through it.
Which scares the heart
Every second, minutes, hours and day And it slowly kills the heart.

Afraid of what might happen
Afraid of losing its only happiness
That was starting to walk away
Or the heart was just paranoid?

Thinking of what to do
And what to say
Head started to ache
As if its breaking
Still confused of the situation
Shook the head many times, trying to shift the mind back to normal

A sigh came out
sign of tiredness
Finally the mind gave up
The eyes was closed
But before the darkness swallow the stressed mind
The mind whispered to a prayer to God
'Dear God, Let him be in my life forever, for i love him forever'
Amen.
