A Prayerto God Poem by Henry Brown

A Prayerto God

Rating: 4.0

Dear God are you really there?
I don’t know if you hear me, and I don’t think you care.

Why are there little ones who are suffering so,
if you can help them please let me know.

There are families that are hungry with no food to eat,
I know You're alive, You're not a dead beat.

Please help us all as we need you to hear-
to touch and know that You're always near.

I felt God answer and this is what HE said-
My child I am alive in you- I am not dead.

Trust me and ask me what you need when you pray,
believe that you have it and you will get what you say.

I know that it seems that God does not answer your request,
but in His ultimate wisdom He knows what is best.

Very good stern advise to all who know Him. God gave man free will in the Garden and will not interfer with man until we ask. You have done an excellent job here and I give you a 10. Good job. Lynn

God's answer to one's prayer is not always yes. Even when He answers yes, His help takes place at when we least expect it. It is an insightful piece.
