That's the person that you trust the most,
The one who always has the perfect riposte.

Jokes are told, and memories made,
All are treasures that will never fade.

How long you've known them; doesn't matter,
You know it's right when there's no natter.

No matter what mood that you're in,
That's the person that brings a grin.

There are no secrets or lies to hide,
Cause you know they're there, by your side.

That's your soul mate, real and true,
And they'll always be a part of you.
