A Real Icon Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Real Icon

Rating: 5.0

Her beauty was completely exposed
When on full moon night she deposed
I didn’t see her in full natural beauty
Thought it was not the necessasity

What made her to look so clumsy?
I had painted her picture very rosy
She was to be one of the best
It was really true and enduring test

She had black patches on the face
I think she had fallen out of race
She had nothin g to show as grace
There was no beautiful trace

She might have remained as love icon
Her beauty might have remained as beacon
Thousands of lovers might have seen her as idol
Today it represented really a black hole

I think beauty doesn’t remain for ever
Still she is exceptionally beautiful however
I find very much calm on or aroun her
She may remain permanently symbol there

There is no doubt about coceptual theory
It makes us joyful with beautiful story
The joyful ride on beautiful chariot
Who will not like it except fool or idiot?

It is pivotal postion that no one can hold
One has to be devoted, sincere and bold
She can be firmly held and owned
Rightfully appreciated and crowned

Try to see her from the distance
Quote good examples and instances
She is there for our inspiration
How can we be doubtful or raise the question

I can’t held my breath
It may end with my death
People may come and lay a wreath
How long will you stay or be with?
