If someone were to tell me
That you’ve never had a down day,
I’d believe it. That is—
If I didn’t know you for myself.

A lifter of spirits,
You always try to make
Another’s day brighter.

Honest. Sincere.
Yet funny and outright hilarious.
Knowing how to take a punch,
You laugh at yourself harder than
You would anyone else.

You certainly get my vote
For the “Comedian Award.”

A great guy.
What a friend.
And who said that “ guys ”
Don’t make good friends?
