Why is it that gibberish
evokes a tear
from one
who wouldn't know
the difference
between
sense and sensibility
but who melts
at sentimentalism?
I wonder if the writings of the romantics triggered a degree of fascist bile in some people.Perhaps Jane Austen suggested a subliminal message that spawned a refusal to present a coherent argument. Sid
