A Room Poem by Dakota Ellerton

A Room

I'm in a large room
with quite a big crowd
I then start to cry
and I cry really loud

Nobody looks
because nobody cares
not one single movement
not one single stare

I cry and I cry
but nobody hears
my crys for help
my signal of tears

when will you hear me
when will you see
when will you stop
and try to help me

my life is the room
and you are the crowd
you don't even listen
when I'm screaming so loud

I wanted your love
but now I can see
that's something you'll never give,
atleast, not to me.

Poets note: This is one of my older poems I had written during some troublesome times, I believe it was directed towards my mother during that period.
