A Rose Poem by nathaniel watkins

A Rose

She moves gracefully completing her daily routine.
But this is no ordinary women she carries herslf,
like a queen.

Her heart made of gold will feed you if your
hungry shelter you from the cold.

The path to the present has entailed both pain
and sorrow, failing to realize her worth the men
in her life after breaking her heart time and
again discarded her dashing any hopes for a tommorow.

Blooming like a regal flower even through her pain
head always held up towards the sky whenever she hears
her name. And like the rose that flourishes even amongst
the thorns an air of royalty has surrounded her since
the moment she was born.

A sense of wonder follows whereever she may be, her aura
emitts a spark of light that even the blind can see.Her
walk, her gaze all refined a true dimond in the rough
a jewell that sparkle's day and night a precious treasure
to be sure to share one fragment of her heart would leave
you wanting more.
