A Rose Poem For Pat Poem by Saint Eule

A Rose Poem For Pat

Rating: 5.0

Its not about religion or philosophy tis not,
from all the experience I got.

It is not about loving ones self or thine,
or taking from the fruit of the vine.

It is so simple this I propose,
It is all about a single rose.

Petals so soft and fiery red,
and the thorns are a part of the lives we have led.

The fragrance bewildering as it may seem,
Tantalizing our senses in the midnight dream.

The drama, the peace the joy that we feel,
Are all a part of a life that is real.

Whether virtually contemplating or taken afar,
Our life is the essence of who we are.

Though dew drops may gather on petals my sweet,
Your sunshine will melt them again make it neat.

Live life to the fullest will leave it at that,
a rose poem and a thank you for my friend Pat.
