A Season To Be Jolly, A Season To Be Bright Poem by David Harris

A Season To Be Jolly, A Season To Be Bright

Rating: 5.0

Snow is falling
on the hills and the glens;
it looks like a white Christmas
will be with us again.
All the old songs
will be playing once more.
There will be carol singers
going from door to door.
Popcorn will be strung
around the tree,
along with mince tarts
and all the party fare.
We’ll look out the windows
at the winter wonderland,
as snowflakes will drift
down from the sky.
Jack Frost will decorate
the windows each night;
candles will burn
until the morning light.
A season to be jolly,
a season to be bright.
As Christmas will soon
be within everyone’s sight.
