A Secluded Being Poem by Liton Chakraborty Mithun

A Secluded Being

Friends like bugs remain round me,
A ready smile hungs on my mouth often,
Very prompt during chit-chat,
Handy to cast healing spell on.
Keep the moody air within face
to those who care,
off to twist all easy
Opt for things unfair.
Tearing Time into piece
like mice out of whim.
Gathering moss on lofty thoughts
breeding all that foul.
Floating like broken boat
on the unrest river of dreams.
I am a recluse sage
within my existence.
But nobody knows
how secluded I am.
