A Self-Imposed Hermitage

A self-imposed hermitage
In atheistic splendor
My existential devotional
My prayer's to secular glories
To that which might yet come
If we only dream a little wider
And hope a little louder
Then maybe freedom might come
Amidst the turmoil
Of giving up some lesser dreams.
